Garden Apartments, Self- Catering Apartments at Vediyapannur Road:

Landmark and directions to Om Sai Ram

1. Vediyapannur is clearly marked on the sign board on the Girivalam Road. You cannot miss it. You will note that there is a long stretch of covered roof shed erected opposite the sign board for the homeless sadhus of Tiruvannamalai who had made Arunachala as their home.

2. Look out for Udavum Karangal on the Girivalam Road which is just after the erected accommodations for the sadhus shown in Photo No:1.1 to 1.3 There will be a police booth at the end corner and usually road side vendors will be selling sugar cane (all day) and organic vegetables (5pm onwards).

3. Next to Udavum Karangal is the start of Vediyapannur Road

4. After Vediyapannur Road if you proceed ahead towards Ramana Ashram then you will see 63 Nayanars Annadhanam Seva where food will be given free every day on the right side of the Girivalam Road. This is given as a prominent landmark to take note. Vediyappanur Road is in between 63 Nayanars and Udavum Karangal at the main Girivalam Road. Don’t go ahead heading Ramana Ashram after this as you will be moving far away from Vediyapannur Road.

5. Please enter Vediyapannur Road and travel ahead 1.5km. Keep going ahead on the tar road heading towards Vediyapannur Village.

6. The first land mark to take note on Vediyapannur Road is Swami Srivatsalya Ashram – orange colour building on the right side. You cannot miss it. If you come straight from Girivalam Road then you will surely see this and if you have not seen this means then you have to keep coming straight only. Remember I said at least 1.5km inside on Vediyapannur Road. So once seen this building then please slow down because you need to turn into third right from this point.

7. You will pass Siva Sri Thiyaneswar Amma Ashram board on the right of the Vediyappanur Road which is just after you pass Swami Srivatsalya Ashram. This is the first right from Swami Srivatsalya Ashram. The next right will be leading to private accommodation and please don’t turn into that right. Just go ahead only on Vediyappanur Road passing all these on the right side.

8. Proceed further for 1 minute from Siva Sri Thiyaneswar Amma Ashram board.You will have to make third right from the Ashram once you see the sandy road on the right of Vediyapannur Road.You can also see on the right you will see a big white colour glass banglo, named as Shivapuram. Large bin area will be there with a sign board, Shivapuram. That is after this right turning – next right actually. It will be fourth right from Swami Srivatsalya Ashram. But aim to turn on the third right from Swami Srivatsalya Ashram itself which is shown in this photo.

9. Take note of the sandy road shown on the photo because you have to turn right inside here only. This sandy road will curve and bend leading behind to Om Sai Ram Gardens Apartments. Remember the third right from Swami Srivatsalya Ashram.

10. In case, if you miss the turning stated above then take the fourth right from Swami Srivatsalya Ashram. You have to turn right into the road adjacent to the sign board, Shivapuram / dustbin. In case, if you miss the above third right turning leading to Om Sai Ram Garden Apartments then you can use the next fourth right turn – wall of Shivapuram Banglo. This will be one straight stretch as opposed to the curved bend in the previous right.

11. Other land mark on the left of Shivapuram Banglo is the Kerala type of Ashram on Vediyapannur Road. They are given here so that you can be aware that the turning point is approaching on Vediyapannur Road.

12. Happy Housing Plots Layout behind the Kerala Ashram on Vediyapannur Road. They are given as prominent landmark for you to take note when travelling to Om Sai Ram Garden Apartments as people tend to get lost without detailed information of the directions to the place.

13. Opposite to Happy Housing Plots Layout will be this Adharsh Garden Plots Layout and you can see the Om Sai Ram Garden Apartments at the end. Pink colour tall building. Even though you can come through this way but it is not advisable with vehicles. The path is not even at the end and has a sharp slope.

14. The Shala – Sign Board will be on the right side of Vediyapannur Road if you by pass the Sivapuram Banglo – As explained above any right turn after that will not be good and the only place left is Adharsh Garden Plots which will come after The Shala Sign Board. So remember to turn back towards Girivalam Road to find the Sivapuram Banglo which is popularly known as “GLASS BANGLO” among the locals here.

15. So please take note of the third right after Swami Srivatsalya Ashram or the fourth right before Shivapuram Banglo. Both the sandy road will finally curve and lead behind leading to Om Sai Ram Garden Apartments.

16. This is what you will see as soon as you reach to the above bend / curve of the sandy road. It will be a small zig zag turning before you reach to the front of the building.

17. You will see the tall pink colour building with the letters “KSR” in yellow. “KSR” is the builder company of this Om Sai Ram Garden Apartments .

18. If you go to the end of Vediyapannur Road then you have missed the right turns and that will lead you to the Vediyapannur Village. You will need to turn back heading towards Girivalam Road and then the all the above information given as “right” side you will have to look out for on the “left” side.

19. On the Girivalam Road – if you are coming from Tiruvannamalai Bus Stand heading towards Ramana Ashram then Varuna Lingam is on the right and that is the nearest Lingam to Udavum Karangal on Vediyapannur Road.
